Volunteering In Singapore
USAGSO-Singapore is a 100% volunteer-run organization and we NEED parents like you who are willing to help. We ALWAYS need new volunteers to keep the program fresh and to replace parents who move away from Singapore.
Nervous to volunteer? Don't be! USAGSO-Singapore provides lots of training and somebody will help you every step of the way. Girl Scouting is a leadership training program for girls of all ages - including adults. You'll learn all sorts of things, have fun doing it and make some great friends - just like your daughter will!

There are MANY ways to Volunteer:

Be a Troop Leader: This is the most fun and exciting job of all. While it is not for everyone, it is quite simply the most important volunteer role you can take on. Girls look up to their Leaders and see them as role models. Without Troop Leaders, we can't form Troops. And without enough Troops, we have to turn away excited and enthusiastic girls during Sign Up.

Join the Executive Committee: There are jobs that fit everyone's skills and time commitment. Every year several committee slots change from repatriation, girls leaving for university, and mandated turn over by our non-profit status.

Help Organize or Run an Event: We have several really fun events every year and these are a lot of work. We always need parents to help organize and run the activities, sort meals and do many other things.

Help out at Troop Meetings: Troop Leaders are skilled at managing their girls, but that doesn't meant they don't appreciate extra help. You can be the Troop Treasurer, organize the weekly snacks, or help run activities at a few meetings. Just ask your daughter's Troop Leader - they will really be happy to have you!
Troop Leaders and Committee Members
The sign up process for is quite simple; just click the VOLUNTEER TODAY button and fill out the form. That’s it! NO PAYMENT is necessary to sign up. USAGSO-Singapore covers the USA Girl Scouts Adult Membership fees for two Leaders per Troop and all Executive Committee members. We also provide all the training and materials you'll need to get started. And, we have a great group of current volunteers who are happy to offer advice and information whenever you need it.
Event Volunteers
For our major events we send out requests for volunteers to join the organizing committees, and you can sign up for a job to help during the event when you register your Girl Scout to participate.
