Paige Jenkinson

Overseas Committee Chair

Paige Jenkinson is the Overseas Committee Chair (OCC) for USAGSO-Singapore and has served as Assistant Treasurer in the past. She is thrilled to be involved in empowering girls through the girl scout leadership experience. Witnessing the accomplishments of her troop in a wide variety of challenges is the highlight of her year. She is a co-leader for Troop 21, a spectacular group of Cadettes!

Paige grew up in the United States, but has also lived in Spain, Russia, the Netherlands, Norway, and Singapore - twice!  Having the Girl Scout community to return to here in Singapore has been a huge blessing and made settling in so much easier. In her previous life, Paige was an Elementary Music Teacher and can often be found substitute teaching at SAS. She loves working with kids of all ages and empowering them by embracing whatever makes them unique. Paige also loves running, playing tennis, crocheting, and traveling.

Severine Chune

Severine is the Treasurer for USAGSO-Singapore. 

Joy Yu is the Registrar for USAGSO-Singapore. Living in Singapore again after 20 years, Joy has always known she would come back, but with her family in tow. This is her second year as a troop leader for Juniors, and she loves how Girl Scouts train future leaders while nurturing lasting friendships.

Joy is a market researcher by profession and a certified coach toward helping find GenZ’s true passion. In Singapore, she and her daughter have discovered a love for high tea, but will always prefer a trip to the beach anytime.

Melinda Murphy Heimstra 

Highest Awards

Melinda is the Highest Awards Chair for USAGSO-Singapore, and was formerly the Chair, Secretary, and Trainer here. This is her eleventh year to co-lead Troop 82. Melinda is also the Vice Chair of the Council of Advisors for USAGSO. She has a lifelong passion for Girl Scouts, earning her First Class distinction as a girl (equivalent of today's Gold Scout). As an adult, Melinda has been recognized with the Thanks Badge, Honor Pin and Appreciation Pin. Currently, she works as the General Manager of the American Association of Singapore and a media trainer for VanMedia Group. In the United States, she had a long career in television, working as a producer and on-camera reporter including a stint as a network correspondent for CBS News. Her most important roles are as a wife and mother of two: her Senior Girl Scout and sports-crazy son.

Susan Williams

Susan is the Web Editor for USAGSO-Singapore. Previously, she was the Communications Chair for USAGSO-Singapore. She co-leads Cadette Troop 21. She grew up in rural New York and lived in NYC, Washington DC, and Baltimore before relocating to Singapore. When she’s not having fun with her daughter, Claire, working with her troop, or volunteering with the AWA Tennis Committee, Susan enjoys playing tennis, reading, and traveling. She has a background in communications, graphic design, and law.

Johanna Mai
Recruiter

Johanna is the Recruiter for USAGSO-Singapore. She grew up in Taipei and San Francisco Bay Area. Later continued school in Tokyo and worked in Shanghai. She got involved in Girl Scouts when becoming a Daisy troop leader in Shanghai and now co-leads Brownie Troop 34. She loves to grow alongside the girls and be able to explore the opportunities for them to help empower other girls in the world.

Shirley is the Communications Chair for USAGSO-Singapore. She has previously served as the Chair, Secretary, and Web Editor. Shirley is from the SF Bay Area, but has lived in Tokyo, Manila, and Singapore for the past 20 years. She loves volunteering and working together with the amazing Girl Scout community. Outside of Girl Scouts, she enjoys riding her bike and hiking the local trails.

Rajani is the SAIS representative for USAGSO-Singapore this year.  She is also a Junior troop co-leader.

Nadhasha Ibrahim

Secretary

Nadhasha is the Secretary for the USAGSO-Singapore website. Previously, she was the Web Editor for the three years. She is a co-leader for Troop 51. She owes many of her first-time experiences to Girl Scouts and loves the GS way of learning things the fun way. She is passionate about helping girls become kind and strong individuals and is always encouraging her Girl Scouts to challenge themselves.

Nadhasha grew up in the Middle East and lived in India before relocating to Singapore. She is a Computer Engineer working as a Technical Writer. In her free time, Nadhasha likes spending time with friends, playing tennis, and solving jigsaw puzzles among other things.

Ouiyoung Kim

Assistant Treasurer & Events Mentor

Ouiyoung is the Assistant Treasusre and Events Mentor for USAGSO-Singapore. Previously, she served as the Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer for two years each. This is her sixth year as a Girl Scout leader; this year she leads second year Juniors. She was a Junior back in the United States and she has reignited her passion for fun and adventure through leading her daughter's troop. Ouiyoung and her two daughters are passionate about nature exploration and sports. Having lived 17 years in Singapore, particularly working in CBD at Raffles Place and Telok Ayer, she has become a history and culture enthusiast. Besides planning for an epic Junior year, Ouiyoung hopes to train for a half marathon and perfect her Peranakan cooking.

Sabrina Lim 

Patches and Pins

Sabrina Lim is the Coordinator for Patches & Pins for USAGSO-Singapore. Her involvement in the council started in 2014 when her daughters joined Girl Scouts  and she stepped up to be a troop leader. She subsequently undertook the role of Patches and Pins Coordinator in 2015 and has been in the Executive Committee ever since. Prior to being a full-time mom, Sabrina was a Public Relations Practitioner for 10 years in the industry. She now divides her time between being a mom, wife, Girl Scouts volunteer, and a part-time job in running events. She appreciates being part of a wonderful community and the leadership opportunities that her daughters have benefited from Girl Scouts.

Lakshmi Ramachandran

Lakshmi was born and brought up in Canada and has lived the last 27 years in Singapore. She was a Girl Guide in Canada. She is a former Chair for USAGSO-Singapore. She was a troop leader for 6 years and was Overnight Camp Director for two years.  Lakshmi is recognized with the recipient of The Appreciation Pin. She worked for 15 years at Hewlett Packard, 4 years at startups and has been with Visa for the past few years. She has found a passion in mentoring girls and women and volunteers in a professional mentoring organization.

Radhika Chandrasekaran

Community Outreach

Radhika is the Community Outreach chair for USAGSO-Singapore this year. Previously, she served as the Secretary and Community Outreach Chair. Radhika is a first year Junior troop leader and has been a Girl Scout leader ever since her daughter joined Girl Scouts as a Daisy. She shares a special bond with her troop.

Radhika calls Singapore her second home having stayed here since 2010. She is a Software Engineering professional and is also a trained Yoga instructor. She loves to dance, travel, learn new languages and experience different cultures.

Farah Liem
SAS Representative

Farah is the Singapore American School Representative for USAGSO-Singapore and is the leader of Junior Troop 11. She was born in Singapore, but has lived overseas for most of her life. She has lived in Sweden, Indonesia, Australia, and Thailand. In 2012 Farah and her husband returned to Singapore to raise their daughter. She worked in Business Administration and Social Services prior to becoming a mom. Her passion for 'giving back' has led her to volunteer for USAGSO-Singapore. Farah is currently working towards a Master of Clinical Psychology and in her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
