On November 13, more than 140 Girl Scouts of all levels in Singapore got to try their hand at something they just can’t do back in the USA: dragon boating, a uniquely Asian sport. Organized in conjunction with the American Dragons dragon boating team, the event combined girls of all levels into teams. As they ventured out onto the water, they quickly learned that paddling in unison as a team was the key to success. Back on shore, Cadettes worked on their World of Water LIA, taking Brownies through an obstacle course designed to teach girls how hard it is to gather clean water in other parts of the world.
